Return Policy

Easy returns. Hassle-free refunds.
Each product on Unique & U has its own return window — typically 7 or 15 days from delivery. The return eligibility and exact window are shown on every product page before you buy.
1. Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:
- The product must be marked as returnable on its product page.
- The return request must be raised within the return window specified on the product (typically 7 or 15 days from the date of delivery).
- The item must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition with all tags attached.
- The item must be in its original packaging.
- A valid proof of purchase (order number) must be provided.
2. Per-Product Return Windows
Unlike many platforms, Unique & U allows each product to have its own return window based on its category and type:
- Standard apparel (kurtas, kurtis, tops, shirts): 15-day return window.
- Occasion wear (lehengas, sarees, sherwanis): 7-day return window.
- Accessories (dupattas, stoles, belts): 7-day return window.
- Non-returnable items: Items explicitly marked as "Non-Returnable" on the product page cannot be returned unless defective.
The exact return window for each product is always displayed on the product detail page so you know before you buy.
3. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return under any circumstances, unless they arrive damaged or defective:
- Items marked as "Non-Returnable" on the product page.
- Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
- Items returned without original tags or packaging.
- Items returned after the stated return window has expired.
- Sale or clearance items marked as final sale.
4. Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement regardless of the product's return policy. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number.
- Clear photographs of the defect or incorrect item.
- A brief description of the issue.

5. How to Raise a Return Request
Follow these steps to initiate a return:
- Step 1: Log in to your Unique & U account and go to My Orders.
- Step 2: Select the order and item you wish to return and click "Request Return".
- Step 3: Select your reason for return and submit the request.
- Step 4: Our team will review your request within 1–2 business days and confirm pick-up details.
- Step 5: Keep the item ready in its original packaging for pick-up by our courier partner.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days.
6. Refund Process
Refunds are processed to your original payment method:
- Credit/Debit Card or UPI: 5–7 business days after the return is approved.
- Net Banking: 5–7 business days after approval.
You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated. If you do not receive it within the stated timeframe, please contact our support team.
7. Exchange Policy
We currently do not support direct exchanges. If you would like a different size or colour, please raise a return request for the original item and place a new order for the desired item. This ensures you get the exact product you want without delays.
8. Return Shipping
For eligible returns, Unique & U arranges a free pick-up from your delivery address. You do not need to ship the item yourself. If a pick-up is not available in your area, we will guide you on the next steps.
